Lhoong waterfall is one of tourism place in Aceh Besar - Aceh indonesia, most of people in Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar and Aceh Jaya spent time here for holiday. This is really wonderful place, this is a heaven for traveler seeker.

 

while you enjoy the beautiful scenery, you also can eat durian, durian is a famous fruit here with special smell. Most of Achenese people love Durian, one person can eat more then 3 durian while foreign they don't like durian, they said the smell is bad. 

While we visited this waterfall, we also ordered durian and eat here, the price is also good becuase the community have their own durian here. In other hand we help community to increase their livelihood by buying their durian.

Change the Stigma of Disaster in Community

I visited random community who affected by tsunami in Aceh – Indonesia 10 years after, I asked them several question related to supported by NGO about their livelihood and other aspect. One question that interesting is what do you feel about that tsunami and their answer amazed me. 

They said its tsunami came from God because God were angry for us with our mistaken so God given that to clean people who make mistake. Some of them are an educated people but still answer like this. I can see after 10 years of tsunami, the stigma is doesn’t change. People just forgot about it and face the daily routine as usual. If the stigma doesn’t change it’s not good for next generation because the youth will forget about it and when disaster happen again its can be a lot of victim and suffering. 

After tsunami in Aceh there is several disaster in Indonesia like tsunami in Mentawai, Tsunami in Pangandaran, volcanoes, earth quake in Lombok and the last was tsunami in Sulawesi. For all of this disaster this is still a lot of victim and destroys many building and livelihood, its look like there is no lesson learns there.

Based from all of that, I can say the big victim came from community and sometimes that place is isolate from other and difficult to help them on the first week after disaster and they cannot help them self from the suffering, because of lack knowledge and capacities. 

The idea to solve this problem is to make community understand and have knowledge about disaster itself because after they have knowledge they will know what to do 6 days post disaster before other aid came.

Happy Teacher Day Buatku

Happy teacher day for all of my teacher who always be there to help me at school. You are my other parent and I will always pray for you all.

Hari adalah hari ulang tahun guru, tidak terkira begitu banyak orang Indonesia yang berprofesi sebagai guru di Indonesia. Mereka tidak hanya berfikir bagaimana mencerdaskan anak bangsa tapi juga mendidik mereka menjadi manusia yang beradab.

Guru tidak bisa disalahkan ketika ada murid - murid yang istimewa (saya tidak mengatakan nakal, karena semua orang itu diciptakan dengan kebaikan) tapi bagaimana sama - sama guru dan orang tua bekerjasama dalam membimbing anak didik.

Di zaman milenial tentunya banyak kemudahan kemudahan yang ditawarkan dan tentunya akan sangat membantu murid dalam belajar dan membantu guru dalam mengajar.

Bapak Nadiem Makarim adalah Menteri pendidikan baru di Indonesia, harapan kita semua di akhir tahun ini pendidikan Indonesia menjadi awal dalam perubahan pendidikan di Indonesia menjasi lebih baik lagi.

Beberapa point dari pidato bapak menteri pada peringatan hari ulang tahun guru adalah:

1. Ajaklah kelas berdiskusi  bukan hanya mendengar
2. Berikan kesempatan kepada murid untuk mengajar dikelas
3. cetuskan proyek kerja bakti sosial yang melibatkan seluruh kelas
4. Temukan suatu bakat dalam diri murid yang kurang percaya diri
5. Tawarkan bantuan kepada guru yang sedang mengalami kesulitan.

Apapun perubahan kecil itu, jika setiap guru melakukan secara serentak, kapal besar bernama Indonesia itu pasti akan bergerak.
